“Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. ”
What started just as her FINAL MAJOR PROJECT, would become her passion.
In her book, MAKE LOVE NOT SCARS, the author, talks about women who were just like us leading a normal life until they became the victim of vengeance.
There are various NGO’s in different sectors, but very few who were helping acid attack survivors.
The challenges of setting up the world’s first rehabilitation centre for acid attack survivors, fundraising, bringing various stakeholders on board to help the victims, to running a successful campaign to End acid sale, the book has it all.
Personally, I think, if you really care about a cause, no matter what the obstacles are it never looks daunting, all you have to do is take initiative, collaborate and persist.
