When I started reading this book, i thought, it is not for me, but hold on, i was not only wrong but as i read further became much happier and excited about the suspense that unfolds in Paradise Towers.
The cacophony and hum-dum of living in a high rise or an apartment is well known, but what if one gets to know about the vice amidst it.
The author in her cautious tone narrates beautifully the day-to-day happenings of a well knitted community living in the Paradise Towers.
The story gets interesting by the unusual death of an old lady and becomes even more exciting when the lead to the case, a witness, was not a human but a loving Parrot.
Amidst all this, sensing something wrong between Mr & Mrs Ranganekar, the liftman, an undercover, unearths and busts the fake currency racket.
The new tenant Mr & Mrs Singh and family make the Paradise Towers more lively, and their son Sameer(Sam) discovers his love.
Love is blind! Laila, coming from another community falls for Aroon as they both decide to get married and later reuniting and reconciling their parents.
Debut novel- the reader may feel, if not for children(target audience), some details could have been avoided and be made in line with the suspense and flow that follows.
